A poem a day…til Mothers’ Day

360A3575_W7_WAs Mother’s Day approaches, there are a lots of lovely and loving signs, cards, presents, banners, etc..  I was looking for a poem, a short one, to like, for those like me who have little time and a short attention span.

Typical of me, I wanted something that sounded realistic but also comical, fun, light – but true!

I found some very short quotes, that might ring true to many.  I will be posting one each day, until Mothers’ Day.  Here is the first one:

My mother taught me about the WISDOM of AGE…”When you get to be my age, you will understand.”

Did your mother ever say this to you?

How did you react?

Have you said it to your own children?
